FAQs

A solar water pump is a device that uses solar energy as a power source, converts solar energy into electricity through photovoltaic panels, and drives the pump to pump water.
The solar panel converts solar energy into electricity, and the inverter converts direct current into alternating current to drive the pump to operate and extract water.

Photovoltaic panels, inverters, water pumps, brackets, cables, sensors, and other parts. LEO is committed to providing you with a one-stop solution.
  1. Installation altitude and temperature
  2. Flow rate, head, current, voltage, frequency, power, number of motor pole pairs or rotational speed of the water pump
  3. Distance from the water pump to the inverter
  4. Water source and water quality
  5. Application scenarios
  6. etc.
It is necessary to choose a water pump inverter that supports AC input.
Related information such as head, daily water consumption, installation location, local annual sunshine duration and average sunshine duration of the system installation site, and water usage purposes are required. You can fill out the “Demand Information Form” and send it to us, and we will design the system according to your requirements; or enter our photovoltaic water pump selection system to directly fill in data and select the relavent type of pump.

Photovoltaic panel warranty: 10-year quality warranty, 25-year power warranty not less than 80%

Inverter quality warranty: 2 years (LEO brand)

Water pump quality warranty: 2 years (LEO brand)

Under normal circumstances, the inverter and water pump can operate for 5-10 years, or even longer.

Solar panels can still work on cloudy or overcast days, but their efficiency will be reduced. The weaker the light, the less electricity is generated. However, even under these conditions, the panels can still capture a certain amount of scattered sunlight.
Solar pump systems typically require very little maintenance. The main maintenance task is to regularly clean the solar panels to ensure that there is no dust, leaves, or other debris blocking sunlight. If the panels are damaged or the system malfunctions, professional repair may be required.
Generally, the cost can be recovered within 1 to 3 years; specifically, it is related to the local electricity price, oil price, illumination time and usage frequency.

For the LEO photovoltaic remote monitoring system, users need to install the GPRS module and remotely monitor the photovoltaic system through the computer website or mobile APP software. In the following situations, the remote monitoring function is required:

  • a. The installation location is remote, and the maintenance cost is high;
  • b. Remote debugging and installation guidance by professionals are required;
  • c. It is hoped to understand the real-time operating status of the system and obtain data related to power generation and water supply;
  • d. It is hoped to remotely control the operation of the water pump and adjust the operating parameters of the system.
